About the Role:
Mediix seeks an exceptional Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team in the Far North Region of South Australia. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with a total indicative remuneration package of $359,094 - $608,425 (subject to private practice arrangements).
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services to patients.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide clinical leadership and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach within the healthcare team.
- Educational Engagement: Teach medical students, trainees, and allied health staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Audit and Quality Assurance: Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance, and safety management activities to maintain excellence in care.
- Research and Development: Engage in research and continuous medical education to stay updated on best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Registration and Experience: Hold specialist qualifications and registration with the Medical Board of Australia, along with relevant experience in anaesthesia.
