Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on person-centered care, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for promoting the well-being of older people. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care, acting as a Team leader, and working collaboratively with our Personal Care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Act as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the Personal Care team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
