Role Overview:
As a Project Manager Scrum Master, you will collaborate within an agile team comprising Data Architects, Technical Leads, Data Modelers, Data Engineers, Testers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts. Your primary responsibility will be to guide the team in designing, building, testing, and deploying data warehouse and data lake solutions, including ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project scope, timeline, and budget management.
- Coordinate with other Scrum Masters to handle inter-team dependencies and collaborate with various teams for ongoing schedule management.
- Anticipate and understand customer needs to effectively manage the development process using various delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, or hybrid).
- Report on essential agile metrics (velocity, burndown) and traditional metrics (CPI/SPI).
- Work with the team to prioritize backlog items based on customer value and dependencies.
- Act as the primary communication link between stakeholders and the team.
- Oversee the performance of releases and ensure the team is informed about business decisions.
- Guide the team through complex challenges.
- Experience in Professional Services, particularly in an onshore/offshore model.
- Demonstrated success in managing data projects, including ETL, Data Warehousing, and large reporting systems.
- Proficient in project management within agile teams, with a solid understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Experience in managing customer relationships and stakeholder expectations.
- A passion for innovation and awareness of emerging technology trends.
- Strong communication skills for managing cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the banking industry is advantageous.
