Waverley Christian College is a forward-thinking, culturally diverse Christian co-educational school. We offer students a quality educational experience from Kinder to Year 12.

We are seeking Mathematics and Science teachers for Years 7-10. We are also open to applicants who can specialise in either Physics, Chemistry, or Psychology. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape their role around their strengths.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Maths and Science to students in Years 7-10
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A qualification in teaching and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement)
