Senior Mechanical Project Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Supervisor to lead our upcoming shutdown in the Pilbara, WA.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the coordination and execution of project tasks, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage and lead a team of skilled tradespeople to ensure efficient task execution and collaboration.
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and inspect installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Optimize resource allocation, equipment usage, and material management to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and collaborate with superintendents and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to project activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of project activities, including daily reports and required project documentation.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills, and create an environment where great ideas are heard and valued. Ideally, you will have:

  • DMIR S26 Training
  • BHP Inducted (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SMP supervision
  • Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with WA mining safety regulations
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams
  • White Card
