About Sydney Financial Advisory Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager/Senior Manager to join our Transaction Advisory Services team in Sydney. As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading buy-side and sell-side due diligence on M&A transactions, working on IPO assignments as an Investigating Accountant, and managing advisory projects for corporate and private equity clients.

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence on M&A transactions.
  • Work on IPO assignments as an Investigating Accountant.
  • Manage advisory projects for corporate and private equity clients.
  • Plan assignments, including risk assessment and strategy development.
  • Review and interpret financial statements and other financial data.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis highlighting key business drivers and performance indicators.
  • Draft comprehensive yet concise due diligence reports.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Participate in business development and networking activities.

Essential:

">
  • Significant accounting/auditing experience with exposure to transaction due diligence.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking with analytical, logical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and professional judgement.
  • Well-developed organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Relevant qualifications in Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
