As an Automation Technician, you will be part of our Keysborough service team in VIC, delivering great outcomes to our clients through field service and breakdown support, preventative and corrective maintenance, electrical installation works, and remote support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide field service and breakdown support to a range of customers across various industries.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including break-fix repairs.
  • Install electrical systems and equipment.
  • Offer remote support services to clients.
  • Assist with the commissioning of projects.
  • Ensure accurate document control and billing administration using MS Office.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, leading by example at all times.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold an A-Grade Electrical Licence to operate in VIC with 5+ years' experience.
  • Be in possession of an Australian drivers licence.
  • Have the right to work in Australia.
  • Be able to plan your workload and control costs effectively.
  • Possess great communication skills to maintain effective relationships with customers.

The successful candidate will have experience in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across major platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider, Omron, and Mitsubishi. You must have industrial electrical experience, including installation and commissioning, and be willing to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call roster.

As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undergo a National Criminal History Check and Pre-Employment Medical, which includes a Drug & Alcohol test.
