Emergency Medicine Registrar Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled medical professional to join our team as an Emergency Medicine Registrar. Located in a picturesque coastal town, this role offers a unique blend of challenge and reward.

About the Role
  • Located in the North Burnett region of Queensland, approximately 335km north of Brisbane.
  • The town is known for its abundant citrus produce and has a population of around 1,981 residents.
  • Shifts are supported by a Senior Medical Officer on site.
  • 10 hour day shifts with no night shifts.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medicine care to patients. This will involve working closely with our experienced medical team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Additionally, the Registrar will be expected to participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in emergency medicine.

Requirements
  • Completion of general practice or specialist medical training.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Current membership with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
