Role Overview

This is a key position driving school improvement and excellence in rural settings.

We seek a strategic Senior Education Advisor to support schools and teaching staff in navigating unique challenges and opportunities.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead professional learning initiatives aligned with school agendas, promoting and supporting teachers pursuing HA/LT accreditation.

Key responsibilities include coaching educators in evidence-based strategies, coordinating the Rural & Regional Teacher Exchange Program, and collaborating with Cluster partners on student case management.

Additionally, the successful candidate will build professional learning networks, provide strategic advice, and lead projects influencing policy and organisational direction.

The role also involves analysing school data to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements, as well as supporting early career teachers through mentoring and local initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A contemporary approach to leading projects, with relevant skills and experience.
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A commitment to teacher wellbeing, community engagement, and passion for supporting educators in rural settings.
  • Tertiary qualifications in education, ideally with experience in a Middle or Senior Leadership position.
