The Role:
The Driver Instructor position involves providing safe and effective driving training to prepare trainees for heavy vehicle license upgrades. You'll work with our partnered Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to deliver training plans within required time frames and in accordance with legislative requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality driving training to ensure trainees achieve their desired outcomes.
- Prepare lessons and provide instruction on all aspects of driving, including safety procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate and deliver professional driver induction training programs.
- Conduct on-road driver assessments to evaluate trainees' skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate training and safety records.
What You Need:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent and Certificate IV Road Transport (TL141310) - Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction.
- A Medium Rigid Licence.
- Certificate III in Driving Operations (TL131216).
- Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle and Passenger Transport legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
