About the Role
The Client, a leading Australian household name, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their established tax function. Reporting to the Group Head of Tax, you will be responsible for the preparation of tax compliance across the ANZ region, as well as assisting with process improvements and an overarching tax transformation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Corporate Tax, GST and FBT returns, and supporting the broader tax return process;
- Preparation and support of Tax Effect Accounting & Reporting Process;
- Tax Account GL reconciliations;
- Payroll Tax Support;
- Monitoring global tax compliance progress and budgets;
- Assisting with Transfer Pricing documentation;
- Assist with process improvement projects across the tax function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an accounting or business related field;
- CA, CPA or CTA qualified;
- Experience as part of an in-house commercial tax function;
- Experience using SAP ERP system, with Xero/Microsoft BI Publisher experience desirable.
