Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our General Surgical & Paediatric unit on either a part time or full time basis.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, high turnover ward specialising in ENT/Orthopaedics/Plastics and Paediatrics (both adult and paeds), along with other general surgical specialities.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care needs.
  • Administer medications as per state law and organisational policy.
  • Maintain a safe practice environment.
  • Degree in Nursing required.
  • A minimum of 1 year acute hospital experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Prioritise Quality Patient Care.
  • Apply sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
