Delivering Quality Care in Liverpool

As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to live independently at home for longer.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing domestic assistance and cleaning homes to ensure a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers.
  2. Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits.
  3. Offering social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  4. Providing personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  5. Offering respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  6. Transporting customers to appointments and providing social support.
  7. Delivering complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

What We Look for in a Care Worker:

  1. You care about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  2. You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  3. You don't sweat the small stuff; sometimes your customer will be having a bad day or traffic delays you. You know not to take this personally and to shake it off before your next customer.
  4. You're available to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday. No night or weekend work here.
  5. You're comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
