AI Driven Civil Design Specialist

Main responsibilities include:
- Creating high-quality design models using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other platforms
- Preparing detailed design drawings and presentation models
- Collaborating closely with engineers and designers to deliver integrated solutions
- Leading or assisting with AI and automation initiatives in the CAD workflow
- Contributing to drafting standards and QA processes
- Assisting in mentoring junior staff and championing new technologies
- Delivering accurate, timely outputs - from BoQs to detailed 3D models
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civil design, especially in mining infrastructure (dams, earthworks, stormwater, roads, landfills, cover systems). Strong proficiency with Autodesk AEC Collection tools, particularly Civil 3D and AutoCAD, is also required. Familiarity with QGIS, Global Mapper, Civil Site Design, and Muk3D is beneficial. Experience or strong interest in AI-powered design tools and scripting (e.g., Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper) is essential. Excellent attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset are necessary. A collaborative approach and strong communication skills are vital. Willingness to contribute ideas to help transform and streamline our CAD processes is also desired. Exposure to tools such as BricsCAD BIM, FME, Revit, or other AI/CAD hybrids would be advantageous.
