About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and positive Stores Technician to join our Kwinana Pigment Plant Warehouse team. This is a full-time, approximately 4-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will contribute to the day-to-day running of our site operations, working closely with the Stores Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently perform stores activities, including daily issues, receivables, and binning functions, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out spot and cyclic stock takes, manage warehouse and transport responsibilities, and ensure inventory procedures are followed.
  • Offload weekly freight trucks, pack away items, and prepare shutdown staging for parts and components.
  • Follow up with end users to collect items from the Stores, maintain relevant transactional activities, and provide on-the-job training for other personnel.
  • Participate in team projects, identify and share continuous improvement ideas, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of previous warehouse experience (desired but not essential).
  • Current C Class Drivers' Licence unrestricted (essential).
  • High Risk Licence for forklift operation (essential).
  • Provides high-level customer service, is highly motivated, and promotes a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Ellipse warehousing module experience (desired).
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, autonomously, and with inventory control.
