Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 per year, taking into account the location and requirements of the position.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the Fabrication Capability Department at our Osborne site in SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled fabricators, coordinating with other departments and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of fabricators to achieve optimal performance and development.
  • Oversee the fabrication process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet stringent standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the fabrication team and other departments.

Requirements

  • Trade qualifications in fabrication or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication processes, materials, equipment and experience with quality control and assurance practices.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
