About The Role
As a Painting Supervisor, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and completing assigned painting projects to the highest quality standards. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that the final product is both aesthetically pleasing and durable. This position is based onsite at a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Select appropriate materials and tools for each job.
- Repair and fill cracks, holes, and other imperfections before painting.
- Mix and match paints to ensure accurate colors.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized before and after the job.
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and to customer satisfaction.
About You:
- Proven experience as a professional Painter.
- Strong knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- The ability to read and write, along with arithmetic skills, is crucial.
- Ability to use hand tools and operate basic machinery.
