Job Opportunity

We are seeking a graduate student to join our team as a manufacturing engineering intern. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about space and have a strong interest in applied manufacturing engineering.

  • The selected candidate will work directly with our engineering teams on projects that support our business units.
  • These projects may involve the development and fabrication of mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid, and avionics systems.
  • The candidate will gain hands-on experience in design for manufacturing, test, operations, and materials & processes.

This internship provides a unique chance to:

  • Gain real-world experience and develop technical skills.
  • Receive mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals.
  • Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
  • Available to work full time while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a passion for space.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in a product design or manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
  • DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills relevant to the internship as well as leadership qualities.
  • Hands-on project experience.
  • Co-curricular engagement.
