Sanitation Laborer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Laborer to join our team at our Burley, Idaho facility. As a Sanitation Laborer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our production areas, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

1. Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings in production areas, following established sanitation standards and procedures.
2. Operate high-pressure cleaning apparatuses and mix and apply chemical cleaning agents as needed.
3. Refill and distribute chemical cleaning agent containers as needed.
4. Complete assigned duties on the master cleaning schedule at specified frequency.
5. Operate fork lift, scissor lift, and floor scrubber as needed.
6. Return all equipment to its proper place after each use.
7. Promote and adhere to company safety work rules and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to effectively present information before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

This position requires standing on a regularly scheduled shift and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must be able to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust.
