Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished Cybersecurity Specialist to lead our Essential 8 Application and Infrastructure security uplift initiative.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing PSPF, E8, ISO27001, and NIST aligned controls across infrastructure and applications.
  • They will provide hands-on engineering and advisory support across endpoint, network, identity, and cloud platforms.
  • Responsibilities will also include ensuring alignment to the E8 framework and making recommendations for changes to security controls where required.
  • This includes overseeing network segmentation, firewall policies, IPS/IDP, and secure connectivity changes.
  • Additionally, they will offer advisory and engineering capability to uplift endpoint protection, policy enforcement, and privileged access management.
  • Finally, they will perform secure deployments and configuration of cloud workloads where required.
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Security Engineer or Consultant participating in Essential 8 security uplift initiatives is essential.
  • A strong understanding of PSPF, E8, ISO27001, NIST, and ISM maturity frameworks is required.
  • Technical capabilities with hybrid infrastructure and Azure cloud are necessary.
  • Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM is highly desirable.
  • Australian Citizenship or security clearance is highly desired.
