Position Overview
The Offensive Security Managing Consultant at Triskele Labs Global Pty will dedicate their efforts to both leadership (50%) and practical penetration testing (50%). This dual-role position allows for a balance between team oversight and direct engagement in complex security assessments. The consultant will oversee a team of proficient penetration testers while also executing intricate penetration tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership (25%)
- Guide and mentor a team of penetration testers, ensuring professional growth and support.
- Address team challenges promptly and effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide meaningful feedback.
- Manage project assignments to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
- Encourage a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
- Organize training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Update and refine existing methodologies and frameworks.
- Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for penetration testing processes.
- Contribute to the Executive Leadership Team with strategic insights.
- Penetration Testing (50%)
- Perform thorough penetration tests on various systems, including web applications and networks, to uncover security weaknesses.
- Generate detailed reports outlining findings and actionable recommendations.
- Engage with clients to ascertain their security requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging security trends and vulnerabilities.
- Business Development (25%)
- Engage in discussions with prospective clients to define project scopes.
- Provide precise time estimates for penetration testing initiatives.
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in penetration testing and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing technical teams.
- In-depth knowledge of various penetration testing methodologies and tools.
- Relevant advanced certifications such as OSCE3, CCT, or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in developing and documenting technical processes.

Compensation
Salary range: $170,000 - $190,000 per annum plus superannuation.
