Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain elevators, escalators, and other lifting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of lifting equipment and minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs associated with lifting equipment maintenance and repair.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff by responding promptly to requests for assistance and providing clear explanations of maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in elevator maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards for lifting equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
