About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Lawyers to join our Work Health and Safety team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Australia's leading health and safety practitioner, Michael Tooma. Michael advises on safety-related matters for his clients, particularly work health and safety, anti-terrorism, product safety, and security compliance issues, including assisting in the development and implementation of compliance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to clients on work health and safety matters;
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance systems;
- Work closely with the Work Health and Safety team to achieve business objectives;
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to work health and safety;
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a private practice environment;
- Strong knowledge of work health and safety law and regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
