About the Role

Oracle's Software Assurance organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced security researcher to join our team. As a Principal Security Researcher, you will play a critical role in assessing large, complex software products and identifying novel security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver in-depth security assessments across various products and services
  • Perform static and dynamic analysis to identify security weaknesses
  • Develop testing tools to help engineering teams identify security-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with new attack techniques and tactics, and apply this knowledge to your security assessments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to triage and fix security issues
  • Mentor junior team members in software security
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years industry experience with 5+ years in IT security
  • Experience in software/product security assessments, penetration testing, red teaming, or web application assessments
  • Interest in vulnerability research and exploit development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
