We're currently seeking a skilled Tester to join our team and play a critical role in the development and delivery of these systems. As a Tester, you'll be responsible for conducting thorough testing and validation of our rail control equipment to ensure it meets contractual specifications, performance, and safety parameters.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge rail control systems. As a Tester, you'll work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and test new rail control equipment, including trackside devices and signalling systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting functional testing of trackside equipment to ensure compliance with contract specifications
  • Undertaking testing and commissioning of signalling equipment to meet performance and safety parameters
  • Raising and closing out Test Logs in an efficient manner and ensuring Work Packages are well managed
  • Assisting in the review and evaluation of testing resource requirements for applicable testing and documentation tasks
  • Planning team's work on a daily basis, monitoring, managing, and reporting progress to management as required

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, or related field)
  • Excellent technical skills, with experience in testing and validation of rail control equipment
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Location and Working Arrangements

This role is based in Brisbane, QLD, and requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate project deadlines and client needs. You'll need to be able to commute to our office regularly and participate in shift work as required.
