Registered Healthcare Professional Wanted

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to fill this key role in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative facility where they will be part of a wonderful and supportive team with outstanding growth opportunities.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will be responsible for undertaking assessments, creating care plans, and implementing nursing interventions in partnership with consumers and/or their representatives.

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments, create individualised care plans, and implement nursing interventions that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each consumer.
  • Liaise effectively with medical professionals, allied health practitioners, pharmacies, service providers, and equipment suppliers to ensure a holistic delivery of care.
  • Maintain accurate and objective records of care interventions, observations, changes in consumer needs, and feedback in an efficient manner.
  • Coordinate and lead teams as required on a shift-by-shift basis, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of clinical policies, procedures, and assessment tools under the guidance of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and education to personal care staff to ensure they deliver appropriate care.

 

Requirements for this role include:

 

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, Monday to Sunday.
  • Able to commit to permanent shifts, working 10 shifts per fortnight.
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Current National Police Clearance and NDIS screening.
