Diesel Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality solutions and results. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication and inspection.
  • Sourcing technical information from relevant manuals and OEMs.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the workshop.
  • Conducting regular inspections to maximize equipment utilization.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or a relevant equivalent qualification.

Additionally, you should have post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry, with a strong focus on General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs, and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.

We also require demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.

Requirements
  • Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent.

  • Demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
