About the Position
  • Support the Proper Officer with subpoena responses and conduct legal research to provide high-quality support to the team.
  • Compile workflow metrics and provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to gather required documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of subpoena requests and responses, providing a transparent and reliable system.
  • Conduct research on relevant legislation, case law, and regulatory updates to stay informed and up-to-date.
  • Summarize findings and prepare briefing notes or memos for the legal team, enhancing their understanding and decision-making.
  • Track and report on legal team workflow metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Support the development of dashboards or reports for leadership visibility, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations, ensuring professional standards are met.

About You:

  • A current University Law Student in at least your 2nd year, with a strong academic record.
  • Legal research and writing skills, with a focus on precision and clarity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in technology and AI, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade.
