Job Title: Diesel Technician with Electrical and Mechanical Expertise

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled diesel technician with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to join our team. As a key member of our industrial service market team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our dealer network and assisting with the installation and repair of engines and equipment.

You will work closely with our sales team to provide application support and product installation services. Your strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively diagnose complex issues and interact with various levels of stakeholders.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in diesel, electric, and hybrid technologies, as well as electro-mobility solutions. You will have the chance to lead electromobility projects and install new engines, while also maintaining and diagnosing control systems on existing and future drivelines.

Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Diesel / Heavy or Light Vehicle, Auto Electrical, technical field Electrical / Electronics and/or Diesel (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years' experience in Industrial, Marine and Power Generation applications
  • Experience with brands such as Volvo Penta, Caterpillar, Cummins, MAN, Scania
  • Good understanding of 12/24V electrical, plus High-Voltage EV and Hybrid powertrain systems
  • Exposure to diesel power generation, water pumping equipment and control systems is highly regarded but not essential
