The Role

We're seeking an experienced horticulturist to join our team as an Operations Leader. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of horticulture staff, focusing on developing their skills and maintaining a culture of operational excellence. You'll provide frontline leadership to ensure the safe and effective execution of tasks assigned to the horticulture team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading, motivating, and supporting the team.
  • Lead activities relating to lifting and managing employee performance.
  • Embed a safety culture through proactive leadership of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of employees.
  • Drive the growth and development of team members' skills by promoting multitasking opportunities and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and strategic projects.
About You

We're looking for a self-aware leader who confidently balances the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. You'll have a strong track record of leading teams to meet targets with a focus on customer satisfaction. You'll be experienced and well-versed in the application of safe OH&S practices, highly knowledgeable in horticulture, and equipped with exceptional interpersonal skills.
