We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Lithgow Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective patient-centred nursing care to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients and clients, ensuring their comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Recent experience working in an acute care environment, with a strong understanding of contemporary nursing practice.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Occupational Health & Safety in the workplace, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Able to perform effectively as a team member, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
