Position: Food Manufacturing Staff

Labourpower is currently seeking skilled production line operators for a role with a prominent manufacturer and supplier of flour, bakery ingredients, and frozen baked goods, including pastries, donuts, cakes, muffins, and cookies, distributed to major retailers and brands across Australia.

This role is open to candidates with Australian Citizenship or NZ/Permanent Residency only. Other visa holders will not be considered for this genuine temp-to-perm opportunity.

Shift Details and Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift: $30.13/hr
    • 6am to 2pm
    • 6:30am to 2:30pm
    • 7:30am to 3:30pm
  • Afternoon Shift: $34.65/hr
    • 2pm to 10pm
    • 2:30pm to 10:30pm
    • 3:30pm to 11:30pm
  • Night Shift: $39.12/hr
    • 10pm to 6am
    • 10:30pm to 6:30am
    • 11:30pm to 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the baking process using industrial ovens
  • Packaging finished products
  • Performing heavy lifting (5kg to 25kg)
  • Mixing and batching raw materials
  • Adhering to recipes
  • Operating machinery
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the work area
  • Working in varying temperature conditions

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must possess full work rights (Australian Citizen or NZ/Permanent Resident)
  • Availability for a minimum of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • At least 6 months of experience in a production or factory role
  • Ability to maintain a fast-paced work environment
  • Capability to lift between 5kg to 25kg consistently
  • Willingness to stand for the entire duration of shifts (6 hours or more)
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Reliable transportation is essential
