About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative speech pathology services for adults with communication and feeding difficulties.

  • Providing high-level clinical expertise and knowledge in speech pathology
  • Ensuring client/patient care is delivered within professional, organisational, legal and ethical boundaries and reflects evidence-based practice and MLHD values.
  • Actively contributing to the MLHD Professional Discipline Network, Allied Health network and multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Advanced speech pathology clinical knowledge, skills and experience, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice
  • Well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills including an ability or willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care
