The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) is seeking a high-calibre individual to join our Executive Leadership Team as a Deputy Chief Executive Officer Schools.
This pivotal leadership role involves providing strategic advice on regulatory matters to the CEO, VRQA Board, and its committees. The successful candidate will have proven achievement at an executive level in regulation or similar government roles, with experience working with Boards or governance structures.
- Develop and manage strategic policy, analysis, and lead sensitive projects;
- Navigate complex environments and stakeholders;
- Influence, negotiate, and manage stakeholders effectively;
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contemporary regulatory and legislative frameworks. They will also possess outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
This is a 5-year role offering hybrid work arrangements and meaningful work in a values-driven environment. The salary range is $225,000 - $290,600 (TRP). Refer to the Position Description for more details.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in developing and managing strategic policy, analysis, and leading sensitive projects;
- A deep understanding of contemporary regulatory and legislative frameworks;
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
