Job Title: Payroll Officer Western Suburbs Hybrid Working

Our client is a dynamic business operating multiple companies under one umbrella. They are striving for excellence in all aspects of operations and as part of their commitment to their employees, we are seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join the team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the seamless processing of all payroll functions across the group of companies and reporting to the Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll preparation for multiple group companies
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with diverse payroll tasks as required
  • Methodical and timely processing of all payroll transactions from various source data
  • Utilising awards and EBA knowledge
  • Process on-boarding, off-boarding and cross-boarding staff within multiple companies
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to optimise operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of payroll systems to guarantee correct staff payments
  • Monthly financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Serve as a communication liaison between the organisation, clients, employees via telephone daily

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll
  • Proficiency in utilising various payroll systems and software
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
