Managing Director for Sustainability

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary leader to lead our organisation and deliver high-quality, sustainable recycling services to communities.
The successful candidate will oversee the management of a small operations team, multiple service contracts for recyclable materials, and ensure contract compliance and operational excellence on behalf of several councils.
The CEO will set the tone for proactive communication with councils, providing high-level policy, operational, and strategic advice to the Board.
Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day management of recycling contracts, negotiating and managing service contracts, building relationships with councils and stakeholders, and exploring opportunities for innovation and service expansion.
About You
You will be an empowering leader with strong commercial acumen and experience in managing complex service contracts and stakeholder relationships.
Tertiary qualifications, demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and management, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and financial management capability are essential.
