About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. As a mental health professional, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a broad range of issues relating to mental health, domestic violence, alcohol and substance misuse, and trauma.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the relevant state or territory governing body
  • Experience working with clients with complex mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary

The base salary for this position is $109,629 - $132,658 per annum (commensurate with experience). The total effective package includes a district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax saving from salary packaging options.

Location

This position is based in Alice Springs, Central Australia, and requires relocation assistance for successful applicants.
