Job Title: ECEC Professional Trainer and Assessor

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ECEC Professional Trainer and Assessor to join our team in Melbourne. As an ECEC Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to students in a classroom or face-to-face setting.

  • Diploma and Certificate III in ECEC delivery to students in a classroom or face-to-face setting
  • Supervise and administer Student Practical Clinics
Key Responsibilities

As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be expected to:

  • Inspire and deliver assigned programs using your extensive knowledge, past experience, and examples guided by comprehensive learning materials
  • Provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs
  • Monitor, mark, and conduct student assessments
  • Plan, review, and improve training and assessment
  • Participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) industry
  • Experience in teaching or training is essential
  • Continuing professional development requirements of the relevant professional body
  • A relevant vocational qualification at a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Education (ECEC)
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
