Job Title: Leading Hand

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Leading Hand to join our team for a large construction and structural building project in Stapylton, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of construction workers on a $500 million project
  • Ensuring compliance with project standards and safety protocols
  • Coordinating with other teams to achieve project milestones
  • Managing and maintaining construction equipment and tools
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Leading Hand on large-scale civil, construction, or structural building projects
  • Valid driver's license and construction card
  • Strong ability to follow instructions and project standards
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • High-risk licenses, rigging/dogging, and plant operating tickets (highly advantageous)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $55.00/hr + pens + super
  • Typically 10 hour shifts, day shift
  • Opportunity for ongoing long-term works for the right candidate
