The Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Environmental Supervisor to join our team at Phosphate Hill. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and environmental aspects of our operations, including risk management, waste management, and emergency response planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to health and environmental issues.

Requirements:

  • tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety.
  • extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a chemical processing environment.
  • strong leadership and communication skills.
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team.
