Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at Raytheon Australia. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and proactive management of procurement requirements across the vessels lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply procurement practices in a Defence supply chain environment.
  • Manage procurement through to delivery, ensuring delivery of supply to the required schedule, scope, and quality.
  • Maintain data integrity of inventory management systems and logistics databases in support of Program requirements.
  • Work with the SPO Inventory Team to ensure the efficient procurement and repair of inventory to maintain established stock levels.
  • Support audit and quality assurance controls across the procurement function to ensure compliance with policy.
  • Contribute to performance management against key performance indicators and performance reporting.
  • Maintain Raytheon Australia's export control compliance across all Material Support functions.

Requirements:

  • Practical commercial acumen, particularly in sourcing, quotations, orders, supplier engagement, and delivery management.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement role. Experience within a Defence environment preferred.
  • Computer literacy including the use of inventory management systems, e.g., SAP, Maximo, EAGLE or MILIS, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
  • MILIS profile competencies: (Highly Desirable)
