Senior Environment Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environment Attorney to join our Brisbane-based team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environment and planning law, native title, land access or related areas. They will be able to work across multiple jurisdictions, handle advisory and contentious matters, and provide exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert advice on environmental and planning approvals for major projects
  • Provide support with land access, native title, and cultural heritage issues
  • Contribute to energy, resources, renewables, and infrastructure developments

The successful candidate will report directly to a partner with over 20 years' experience in environment and planning law. They will benefit from close mentoring and client exposure on high-value matters for both private sector and government clients.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in environment and planning law, native title, land access or related areas
  • Strong written and analytical skills, with sound judgment and reasoning ability
  • Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and handle both advisory and contentious matters
