This is a full-time ongoing position that requires the skills and abilities to promote high expectations, embrace collaborative learning and teaching, and demonstrate a commitment to our learning community's ongoing development.
We are seeking an experienced teacher who can provide a rich educational experience for students, using effective data analysis to inform their teaching and learning practices.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of inquiry-based teaching and learning, as well as familiarity with the Science of Learning and MACS Vision for Instruction.
They will be committed to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care, and possess the necessary qualifications, skills, and abilities to meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
The role involves working collaboratively with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans, assess student progress, and contribute to the school's ongoing development.
The ideal candidate will be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, and hold accreditation to teach in a Catholic school.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a rich educational experience for students, using effective data analysis to inform their teaching and learning practices
- Develop and implement curriculum plans, assessing student progress and contributing to the school's ongoing development
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to achieve school goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice
