The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Cook to join our team in Marrickville. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining stock levels, controlling waste, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the success of our restaurant by providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive image of Chargrill Charlie's.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a busy kitchen.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
