As a Rehabilitation Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing client needs and developing strategies and interventions for safe return to pre-injury activities;
  • Performing assessments such as initial assessments, functional capacity assessments, early intervention, home, worksite and ergonomic assessments, as well as vocational assessments;
  • Completing equipment trials in person with your clients, to ensure recommendations for services, support, and/or assistive equipment are safe and appropriate;
  • Undertaking thorough assessments with clients to identify needs and risks associated with injuries sustained in motor accidents, and identifying formal support requirements.

You will be working with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for clients, including those related to return to work, health, and wellness.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency); or eligibility to obtain;
  • Allied Health Qualification in Occupational Therapy;
  • Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering results;
  • Current driver's licence and access to their own vehicle.
