The successful candidate will work as part of a transdisciplinary Key Worker Model with a team of Allied Health professionals, providing high-quality services and integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children to increase their meaningful participation in daily life.


This role focuses on building the capacity of children, families, and communities through individual and group clinical work. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech pathology services to children aged 0-10 years, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. To conduct assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills.
  2. To develop and maintain strong relationships with families and caregivers to ensure successful outcomes.
  3. To participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practice in speech pathology.

Requirements:

  • Eligible membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks accordingly.
