About the Role

Vinci Construction, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing budgets to ensure the company's financial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain cost control systems and procedures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for improving financial performance.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, tracking actual expenditures against budgeted costs.
  • Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Participate in the development of long-term financial plans and budgets.
  • Communicate financial information and analysis to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or similar experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English and French.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
