Product Development Engineer / Auto Electrician Role Summary

This challenging opportunity is for a skilled Product Development Engineer / Auto Electrician to join our Product and Merchandise team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering cutting-edge 4WD lighting products.

Job Description
  • Design and engineer electrical circuits and components for 4WD lighting products like LED light bars and auxiliary lights.
  • Develop and test prototypes focusing on electrical safety, durability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues from development through field testing.
  • Collaborate with product designers, engineers and manufacturers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
  • Document technical specs, wiring diagrams and produce installation guides.
  • Provide technical support and training for customers and installation teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of automotive electrical systems, canbus, circuit design and diagnostics.
  • Experience in product development including prototyping and testing.
  • Skilled in wiring harness assembly, soldering and using electrical testing equipment.
  • Understanding of industry safety standards and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Project management skills with the ability to deliver on time.
