Permanent Relief Team Early Childhood Teacher Role

KU Children's Services is seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Permanent Relief Team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, providing high-quality early education and care for children when regular staff members are absent.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be confident in stepping into leadership roles, and possess a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

In addition to delivering high-quality early education, you may also be called upon to temporarily fulfill the role of Director or Nominated Supervisor, guiding and managing a team of educators and ensuring smooth program implementation and development.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma in Early Childhood
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Teacher Accreditation for the relevant state
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW) and Working with Vulnerable People (ACT)
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
  • Drivers License and own vehicle
