Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at BRUNOS PIZZA TAKE AWAY & ITALIAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

• Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
• Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including cooks, waiters, and managers, to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience as a Chef in a similar role.
• Diploma of Hospitality Management, Certificate 3 and 4 in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisor.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
• Knowledge of menu planning, food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies.
• Ability to monitor quality of dishes and discuss food preparation issues with managers and staff.
• Knowledge of hygiene regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Ability to provide training and guidance to staff.
• Knowledge of WHS requirements and ability to ensure compliance.
